Beautiful late 18th.c. Conwy Valley oak Welsh dresser c.1790. A good rack with original boards and shaped oak sides on large, well shaped ‘shoes’, above an excellent base featuring three drawers above cupboards and a central back of working drawers. The cupboard doors feature ‘slap on’ panels of the same shape as those found on Llanrwst clocks of the period. The oak panelled sides and quarter columns to front the corners of the base are good period features. In great condition and of a supberb mellow, honey coloured timber, original handles. Good small size, just 19″ deep.

A small early 19th.c. oak Welsh dresser base. North Wales c.1810. With three drawers above two cupboard doors and a central bank of two dummy drawer fronts and one working drawer. Shaped door panels, ebony diamond shaped escutcheons, panelled sides and back. Great colour and condition having been restored and repolished in our workshop. Original knobs. Key supplied.

Delightful small North Wales oak dresser c.1820. A well proportioned rack with original back boards over a two door cupboard base. With three drawers across the top and a central bank of one working and two dummy drawers. Superb inlaid detail in a variety of timbers typical of dressers produced aroundthe Anglesey market town of Llangefni in the early years of the 19th.c. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and restored in our workshops, with original back and floor boards and original brass knobs.

Unusually small North Wales Cwprdd Tridarn (three piece cupboard) c.1750. A good sized canopy with turned columns and shaped side panels above an attractive central section with two small cupboard doors either side of a delightful set of four small drawers. With a two door cupboard base featuring the same well shaped fielded panels. Unusually small proportions, excellent colour and quality timber, solid oak construction throughout, original backboards.

Fine example of a mid 19th.c. Welsh dresser of the type produced on Anglesey c.1840. In mahogany and oak with a well proportioned rack over a breakfront two door cupboard base with a central bank of drawers. The diamond inlays and applied turnings to the cornice, the turned quarter columns and the bone escutcheons are all original vernacular features typical of Anglesy furniture from the period. In really excellent condition, original throughout, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.

Two door cupboard top with pierced door panels carved with an unusual looping pattern over a cupboard base with two drawers in the middle. Original feet, original floor sides and back etc. Attractive pale or golden oak finish. Excellent condition. Keys supplied.

A late 18th.c. oak three drawer dresser base of particularly good colour and patina. Fine piece of Georgian country furniture with lots of nice period detail, particularly the leg detail and the neat little pad feet. Also mahogany crossbanded drawer fronts, oak drawer linings and a shaped apron. Excellent condition, retaining original brass escutcheons. The knobs are probably 19th.c replacements.

Superb example of a traditional Welsh stickback chair c.1800. A good size armchair in ash and elm. Original through with traces of the original paint finish. Some damage to the tip of one arm but in good solid condition with a very good patina.
