Superb quality mahogany writing desk c.1910 by the top end cabinet makers of the era Edwards & Roberts. Decorated with Chinese Chippendale style carving, piereced fretwork and raised on unusual cluster column legs. The galleried top features two small stationery cupboards. With distinctive horizontal panel sides, mahogany drawer linings and original brass handles. With a clear maker's stamp on the top edge of the centre drawer front. Excellent condition restored in workshops and fitted with a new leather skiver. Key supplied.
